Lunar New Year Korea – Happy New Year, all !!! In Korea, 설날 설날 (Seol-NA) celebrates the first day of the New Year in its monthly calendar, making it the most important holidays for one year. Because this is a family vacation, most people go to the country and spend several days in the homes of grandparents and parents to collect this holiday. Luckily for me, my boyfriend lives in Seoul, a friend of my boyfriend, so we have a luxury to skip chaotic traffic and return home by the end of the day.
Besides that little comfort and working day, I love the rich traditions that come with them. 제사: A ritual ritual to honor dead ancestors, 세배: Deep bow given to parents and, of course, all the delicious foods you can eat (rice soup). Of course, children also have games and financial gifts. All of these things are wrapped in some high quality families, especially since you often do not see them on the side of your family.

One thing I really like about such holidays is 한복 (Hanbok). Usually 한복 Only in special occasions such as weddings, 추석 (Thanksgiving), 설날 (Monthly New Year) or traditional performances. They are mostly worn by children and parents on this particular holiday, but it is still nice to see this cute tradition to the present day.

A few years ago I wrote a post 한복 to go with a photo session I made with my boyfriend. This year we decided to review the 설날 concept, but adding to our lovely little Malta (UYU), we have more family topics. We bought him a divine dog Hambock and borrowed Hambock to supplement him. We were really happy with the results and we had so much to do!
